Andy Murray and Serena Williams doubles live stream FREE: How to watch Wimbledon first round clash without paying
THE Wimbledon dream team is about to become a reality.
British star Andy Murray is set to partner 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams in the mixed doubles at this year’s SW19 tournament.
The Scot is recovering from major hip surgery in January but is targeting a return to singles at the US Open – and confirmed he will partner the American legend on Tuesday.
Their first match will be against Germany’s Andreas Mies and Chilean Alexa Guarachi.
When is Murray/Williams vs Mies/Guarachi?
THIS first round mixed-doubles match is set for Friday, July 5.
As yet, no start time or court number has been confirmed by Wimbledon organisers.
They are in the top section of the draw and could face 14th seeds Fabrice Martin and Raquel Atawo if they can win the opening match.
Speaking to STV, Murray said: “It’ll be great. I’m just happy to be fit and healthy again.
“With what’s happened the last year or so, you never know what’s round the corner, so it’s a great opportunity. I’ll look forward to it.”
