Dec – who is also his best man – organised the bash at an exclusive members only golf course in Berkshire- where he was joined by 15 friends, tucked into fine food and enjoyed six hours of golf.

The do saw the lads working their way through the sprawling 18-hole course at Bearwood Lakes golf course in Sindlesham.

They dressed in matching blue polo shirts for the day as they teed off at 10.30am.

The group then returned to the exclusive clubhouse for a four-course meal prepared by an experienced head chef.

The star and his mates, which included Jonny Wilkes, dined on locally sourced seasonal delicacies in their own private area – although social distancing measures meant they weren’t all on the same table.

Most importantly the bash was completely booze free in keeping with Ant’s new sober lifestyle.

A source told the Mirror: “Ant was having the time of his life, he and Dec were laughing and joking all the way around.

“You could tell there was friendly competition between them, but they were still whooping each other on when one of them played a specially good shot.”

It is a far cry from the very raucous stag Dec organised for his best mate back in 2006 before he married Lisa Armstrong.

The cheeky star planned a Monopoly-themed pub crawl around London, which led to Ant waking up in McDonald’s wearing a skimpy French maid outfit.

“You know when you’ve been drinking all day and you have that one moment of clarity, and I came to dressed as a French maid in McDonald’s just off Regent’s Street,” he confessed in 2015.

Two weeks later they went on a boozy break to Riga, the capital city of Latvia, where they drank for 12 hours.

Ant has been sober since 2018 following a drink-drive crash, which led to stints in rehab.

Anne-Marie  has supported him during his recovery from drugs and alcohol addiction.

She has taken on the role of his sober partner to help keep him off booze, helping him establish healthy routines at home and keeping his mind focused.

Ant popped the question to mother-of-two Anne-Marie on Christmas Eve after finalising his divorce with ex-wife Lisa Armstrong in April.
