After weeks of rumours and endless speculation, Apple has finally lifted the lid on its new iPhone 13 smartphone range. Just like last year, the US firm is bringing four new devices to stores which include the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and Ultimate iPhone 13 Pro Max.
There’s plenty of changes coming to these new phones including an improved A15 Bionic processor, much better battery life and even sharper pictures thanks to a massive update to the rear camera.
So, if you’re in the market for a new iPhone here are the biggest upgrades coming to these entry-level devices.
The biggest change you’ll instantly notice on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini is a new look to the camera system.
These improved lenses have now been moved into a diagonal pattern on the rear case with Apple promising improved pictures from this upgraded snapper. In fact, the wide-angle lens now gets the impressive image stabilisation that was found on last year’s 12 Pro model.
Tucked under the shell is that latest and greatest A15 Bionic processor which is now much, much faster than before.
Along with being far quicker, it’s also more efficient meaning users can expect to see around 1.5 hours extra life.
The OLED XDR screen has also been upgraded on both phones which should mean brighter colours and much richer blacks.
Another nice change is that Apple has reduced the notch meaning there’s more space for your content.
Like last year, these new iPhones can connect to the latest 5G data speeds and are IP68 water-resistant.
