Ashley Cain slams vile trolls claiming he spent his late daughter’s fundraising money on supercars and designer clothes

ASHLEY Cain has slammed vile trolls who have accused him of spending his late daughter Azaylia’s fundraising money on supercars and designer clothes.

He hit back at an Instagram follower who claimed he wasn’t returning the £1.5million raised to treat eight-month-old Azaylia’s leukaemia before her death after they commented underneath a picture of his new mountain bike.

Revealing he was going against advice to speak on the issue, Ex on the Beach star Ashley posted a video on Instagram saying: “I’ve always been a believer in being true to myself, so I don’t mind speaking on this topic.

“There is a very very small percentage of people that seem to have some form of hate or bitterness towards me or my situation, and I don’t understand how you can be envious or bitter of my situation because I’ve lost something that meant more than life itself.

“And every day it’s filled with pain, yet some people think it’s viable to throw shade on what I’m trying to do.”

He continued: “I actually got rid of my car during Azaylia’s fight so we had enough money to support ourselves and just in case anything happened.

“Our outgoings doubled because not only we were paying for our home we were paying for hotels seven days a week for months on end and we weren’t working at the time either because we wanted to dedicated to our daughter and our needs.

“I’m still not working now because I want to dedicate my time to building this foundation. As long as me and Safiyya have enough money to eat and house ourselves.”

Ashley then told how he can’t access the money raised for Azaylia in a GoFundMe, revealing it will be used once the charity is officially set up in his daughter’s name.

He added: “We have no access until the charity is set, we declared this publicly so it was transparent and we couldn’t use the money for any personal gains.

“Even though I’m not working and outgoings are so high I have used the remaining personal funds I have to get this charity set up.

“That’s how much this really means to me and sometimes when I’ve had these blind ignorant comments I just don’t understand it.”
