Cheap air conditioning units: where to buy with prices starting from £23

BRITS have been waiting for the weather to heat up, but now the sunshine has arrived you could be finding it difficult to keep cool.

Temperatures are set to soar to up to 30C this week – and the heatwave is expected to continue for 14 days.

Brits are looking for ways to cool down during the June heatwave

It can be hard to keep cool on warm, humid nights, and sometimes a fan just doesn’t do the trick.

Rather than enduring another sweaty evening, it could be time to invest in a portable air conditioner.

Electric fans simply waft air around the room, but air conditioners are able to cool the temperature.

But they do have their downsides – air conditioners will increase your energy bills if you use them alot.

And they can be expensive – prices start at around £23 but quickly rise to hundreds, depending on what functions you require.

If you’ve got a large room then you need to go for a higher BTU number, but this means the device will be more expensive and bigger.

It’s always a good idea to compare prices with other shops before you part with your cash, as you could be able to find a better deal elsewhere.
