With the trial looming next week, Nick, Leanne and Simon return to the cobbles to face the music.
DS Glynn pays Leanne a visit and makes clear how important her evidence is in order to get Harvey banged up.
In prison, DS Glynn tells Harvey his plan won’t work and that the witnesses won’t be swayed.
Corrie viewers know that Leanne recently struck a deal with Harvey after he kidnapped and threatened to harm Nick Tilsley’s son Sam.
Imran advised Leanne against withdrawing her statement as it could still be used in court, but that she could say at trial that her original statements were wrong and that she’d made a mistake.
Imran warned Leanne she could face charges of perjury and perverting the court of justice on top of all the existing drugs charges – and that she could be looking at a prison sentence.
