Neighbours will welcome a new arrival later this year, with Denise van Outen joining the Australian soap in a guest role as Prue Wallace.
The TV personality is currently filming in London with Neighbours favourites Stefan Dennis and Rebekah Elmaloglou, who play Paul Robinson and Terese Willis.
Denise has been cast as the mother of newcomer Harlow Robinson, who is played by actress Jemma Donovan, the daughter of Neighbours legend Jason Donovan.
Paul will come face-to-face with Prue in London, in scenes that will pave the way for one of the soap’s biggest storylines later this year.
Denise will head Down Under later on for the major plot, as she films with the cast on the set of the hit soap.
Prue isn’t alone though, with another familiar face cast to play her pal Graham.
Good Morning Britain star Richard Arnold makes his own Australian soap debut in the role, joining the cast for the scenes in London.
He’s said to exert an unhealthy influence over Prue, while it’s not yet known what exactly the storyline will lead to.
Speaking of the role, Denise revealed: “I am thrilled to be joining the cast of one the world’s most iconic shows, Neighbours.
“To be asked is a privilege and I am very excited to get to work on a really fun storyline first in London and then heading over to Melbourne.
“I can’t say too much just yet but my character Prue is heading to Ramsay Street to stir things up and I can’t wait!”
Richard added: “I always knew my career would hit a ‘dead end’ eventually but I never dreamed it would do so in such spectacular fashion joining the cast of Neighbours, home to the most famous cul-de-sac in television. G’Day Britain!”
Paul actor Stefan shared his own excitement about being back in London, saying: “We love the Brits and being in this incredible city! Getting the chance to work with Denise and Richard is a real treat!”
Neighbours airs on Channel 5 weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm.
