EastEnders fans 'terrified' and 'freaked out' as Whitney murders stalker Leo


EastEnders viewers were left terrified and “freaked out” by violent scenes on the soap on Friday night, as a shock death was confirmed.

Brutal scenes saw Whitney Dean accidentally murder her stalker Leo King in self-defence as they storyline came to a gruesome end.

In horrifying scenes, Whitney was cornered in her house by the man who has stalked her for months, following the reveal of his true identity.

But as he tried to kill her after locking her in her own home, she fought back leading to a final deadly showdown.

The scenes led to her stabbing him to death with a knife, trying to stop him from killing her.

But she was left horrified when she realised she had killed him, and she wasn’t the only one.

Viewers raced to Twitter over the dark scenes, with many admitting they struggled to watch the tense episode.

As some were left in turmoil for Whitney over the scenes, others were stunned to learn Leo was dead.

One fan said: “Omg Leo really is a f***ing psychopath, it’s terrifying af if there’s really people out there who are like him.”

Another tweeted: “HOW TERRIFYING WAS IT WHEN HE STOOD UP THOUGH.”

Leo had arrived in Walford last summer, with it soon confirmed he was the secret son of Whitney’s former stepfather and abuser Tony King.

He’s always been convinced that Whitney lied about his dad being a paedophile, and that she was the reason he took his own life in prison.
