INDIANA Jones star Harrison Ford has been hurt while rehearsing a fight scene for the highly-anticipated fifth film.
The extent of the 78-year-old actor‘s injuries are not known but are said to involve his shoulder, which he is currently receiving treatment for.
Sources told Deadline that despite the injury, director James Mangold will continue to shoot around his scenes while a treatment plan is evaluated.
The busy filming schedule for Indiana Jones 5 will be reconfigured in order to give Harrison the appropriate time to rest and recuperate, yet meet the July 29, 2022 release date.
A statement from Disney read: “In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder.
“Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.”
