DUKE OF HAZZARD (4.00 York, nb)

Didn’t appear to handle the track at Epsom last time but he takes a drop in class and will be hard to beat.

QUENELLE D’OR (5.50 Goodwood, treble)

She was thrown in at the deep end in the Cheshire Oaks but is in much calmer waters now.

2.45 Hoodwinker – just touched off at Haydock; drier ground likely to suit

3.20 You’re Hired – on a fair mark and skipped Epsom for this better ground

3.55 Nell Quickly – improved with each start; fair mark on handicap debut

4.30 Haizoom – should appreciate this longer trip on handicap bow


1.25 Kenstone – slipped to a good mark and jockey booking catches the eye

2.00 Gambon – has won around here and ran better than bare result latest

2.35 Attache – makes some appeal on paper and yard do well with 2yos

3.10 Pastfact – course specialist who has dropped to a dangerous mark

3.45 Equally Fast – arrives in fine fettle and looks primed to strike 

4.20 Red Square – well-bred filly who has been found a good opportunity

4.50 Big Wing – had excuses recently and this looks more suitable


1.45 Jadhlaan – winner waiting to happen on evidence of first two runs

2.20 Emiyn – needed the run on return to action; could surprise

2.55 Black Hill Storm – in good form and will relish this extra distance

3.30 Shepherds Way – shaped with good deal of promise at Carlisle last time

4.00 Duke Of Hazzard (nb) – perhaps failed to handle Epsom; huge chance if at best

4.35 Shawaamekh – has gone close off similar marks in the past; C&D winner

5.05 Greengage – improving at a rate of knots; hard to stop in current mood


5.20 C’Est No Mour – on the up when last seen and ran well last visit here

5.50 Quenelle D’Or (treble) – thrown in at the deep end last time; hard to beat

6.25 Kelmscott – steadily progressive and will appreciate this better ground

7.00 Libertine Belle – just touched off at Lingfield; big chance off same mark

7.35 Prism – encouraging debut second here last time; more to come

8.10 Genesius – needed the run on reappearance and should be sharper now


5.30 Kilmington Rose – decisive winner last time and should be more to come

6.00 Espressino – rare blip last time but capable of winning this on a going day

6.35 Sainte Doctor – nice win over C&D last time; 4lb rise looks generous

7.10 Getaway Trump – high-class performer who has conditions in his favour

7.45 Special Buddy – good third off this mark at Warwick; this looks easier

8.20 Eglantine Du Seuil – talented mare took well to fences on debut; big chance

8.50 Luckello – solid debut for good yard last time; this won’t take much winning


5.45 Cousin Oscar – good winner over this trip two starts ago; goes well fresh

6.15 Koi Dodville – comfortable win on jumps debut and this looks a good opening

6.50 Bbold – held his form well since joining this yard; conditions to suit

7.25 State Crown – made all for good win latest; could get soft lead

7.55 Solar Impulse – very well-treated on old form; first time visor fitted

8.30 At First Glance – two good runs in defeat latest; can progress
