Inside Maya Jama’s glam off camera life as it’s revealed she’s a multi-millionaire and pays herself £200,000 salary

Maya Jama has landed a bumper £650,000 payday and is not shy to reap the rewards of her hard work.

The Sun can reveal the star has banked an incredible £206,000 in pay and £434,000 in profits through her MIJ Entertainment & Co private firm.

It’s a big jump of £200,000 from what she earned in 2020, which was £422,000.

That means her pay over the past two years is now standing at a cool £1m.

The latest financial statements signed off by Mayaa earlier this year, and just in on Companies House cover the year ended 31 January 2021.

On top of her pay and profits they also disclose an impressive six figure increase in assets.

Reported at £1,690,566 – including £1,253,212 in cash, and monies owed to the business at £434,744.

After allowing for bills at £269,944 Maya’s firm ended its latest tear of trading with a £1,420,622 net worth – its highest yet

Previous accounts show the net net worth of her firm climbing from £275,218 in 2018 to £986,172 in 2020.

She has picked up £486,000 in across three years of trading – including 2021.

And in a move set to add to her bottomline Jama has expanded after records at the Intellectual Property office show she registered three trademarks to her firm in January, including a booze line under a Cling Cling brand.

Maya has since  been granted permission to use her name to sell perfumes, candles, jewellery, leather goods, clothing, entertainment services, hairdressing, and nail care services, among others.

In addition to this firm she has another company – hairdressing and beauty business MIHJ Masks, set up in 2019, and banked £110,327 in assets in its first year.

Her assets and dividend pay add up to a £2.3m business fortune.

Maya’s stock is only going to rise after landing the very lucrative gig hosting Simon Cowell’s new show, Walk The Line later this year.

Aside from her TV work, the former BBC Radio 1 host, 26, has enjoyed success with fashion collections with PrettyLittleThing and JD Sports, and has modelled for brands such as Adidas and Maybelline.

She has fronted shows such as, Glow Up, The Circle, Channel 5’s Swipe Right for Sex and MTV show True Love or True Lies.

Maya also joined former England footballer Peter Crouch on his Save Our Summer show and joined Celebrity Juice as a regular panellist.

The 27-year-old previously dated rapper Stormzy and lives a very glamorous life thanks to her hard earned money.

She splashed out on her plush London home which includes a romantic four poster bed.

More recently, she celebrated her birthday by taking private jet to a tropical paradise with NBA player boyfriend, Ben Simmons.

To mark her special day, the former Radio 1 presenter shared a selection of snaps from her lavish travels on her Instagram.

In one picture, Maya looks sensational posing on a balcony in an orange and yellow bikini with no make-up and her hair styled into natural waves.

Another shows the star sipping on a cocktail while traveling in her private jet, followed by a pic of her enjoying some seafood in a swimming pool with a Von Dutch hat on.

The telly favourite partied the night away tonight as she also kindly gifted a £160 bottle of Don Julio tequila.
