Inside Michelle Heaton’s huge Hertfordshire home she shares with husband Hugh and two kids after rehab stint

MICHELLE Heaton has given fans a glimpse inside her huge Hertfordshire home she shares with her husband Hugh Hanley and their two kids.

The 41-year-old singer recently opened up about her “life saving” rehab stint at The Priory after a three-year addiction battle.

The Liberty X star took to social media to thank everyone for supporting her and also showed off her chic abode.

Michelle regularly gives her fans a insight into her family homes which boasts a massive garden and a stylish all-black bathroom.

Her conservatory has plenty of natural lighting with a large patio door that leads out to her garden.

Michelle makes the most of the spacious room, it has tiled floors perfect for her workout routines and a large leather sofa to unwind in the evenings with the family.

She has tastefully decorated it with white colour palette and blue dining chairs for a pop of colour.

The mum-of-two has put her stamp on the home with personal touches including quirky artwork, photo frames and a large Roman Numeral clock in the lounge.

The singer can enjoy some R’n’R in her luxury bathroom with gold taps, feature wall and Buddha ornaments.

The busy mum has also given her fans a look inside her second living room where the family recently celebrated Christmas.

She also has a huge black rimmed mirror above an classic looking fireplace and vintage wooden cabinets.

They also have another cinema room with a large flat screen TV, beanbags, comfy sofas and plush grey carpet.

The room also lends a nod to Michelle’s singing career with records on the wall.

Upstairs, Michelle has a huge bedroom and a walk in closet room with rails of designer gear.

Michelle’s garden is the perfect summer spot to lap up the sunshine, the family can enjoy the glorious weather on her decking relaxing on her sun lounger.

The popstar also has a large summer house at the back of the garden and plenty of lawn space for the kids to play and ride their bikes.

When the star is not chasing after her kids and adorable pooch, Michelle can enjoy some relaxation in her beautifully decorated yoga room.

Michelle bravely revealed she had been “days from death” after going on a three-year cocaine and booze binge.

Just 36 hours after leaving rehab, the TV personality told The Sun of how she was only saved by an intervention from showbiz pals led by Katie Price.

They not only insisted Michelle book herself into The Priory, but paid for her four-week stay to beat her drug and alcohol addiction.

She detailed how her husband Hugh Hanley was left to raise their children, daughter Faith, nine, and son AJ, seven, as she battled her demons.

The married mum of two shot to fame on ITV’s Popstars in 2000, leading to the formation of Liberty X a year later. After they split in 2007 she moved into writing and TV work.

A downward spiral set in when she discovered in 2012 that she was a carrier of the mutated BRCA2 gene, significantly increasing her risk of breast and ovarian cancer.

Michelle underwent a mastectomy in 2012 and two years later, chose to also undergo a hysterectomy in order to beat the odds of developing cancer.

It was at this point that Michelle revealed that she turned to drinks and drugs to cope with the “pain and suffering”.

“‘What I was doing was a suicide mission. I was crying out for help when I couldn’t actually ask for help. When you’re an addict, it feels like there’s no way out,” she revealed.

“Last September I hit rock bottom with the alcohol and had excruciating pains. My doctor could feel my liver sticking out because I was so thin.”

The star detailed that before rehab, she had drunk a bottle of vodka and two bottles of wine “virtually every day since 2018”.

Michelle also revealed her “three day coke binge” that saw her consume a gram of cocaine a night, alongside her regular alcohol intake.

At The Priory, she was told that her levels of the enzyme GGT – which indicated lives damage – was at 2,500 compared to the healthy level of 30.

Michelle thanked her fans for their kindness, writing: “Everything feels very calm at the moment. 

“I just wanted to say hi to everybody, it’s been a while, nice to meet you all again. Thank you for all your well wishes and your support.”
