Getting engaged to Joe Swash

The fast talking and lovable star – who hails from Dagenham – got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Joe, 39, on Christmas Eve.

The pair melted hearts as she told fans how happy she was and that she had not stopped crying, as Joe popped the big question with a huge diamond ring on a walk in the woods.

Stacey said he sprung the surprise on her during an ordinary walk in the woodland which was her “happy place”.

And she recalled the day she fell in love with Joe in Australia, as they filmed I’m A Celeb Extra Camp.

In April Stacey said her wedding to Joe is on pause while they try to get a licence to get married in the back garden of their home in Essex.

The stunning £1.2 million property is set within 2.5 acres of land, so would offer plenty of space for their wedding.

The pair were due to marry in July but the couple have had a change of heart about where they want to say ‘I do’.

Though the date has been pushed back Stacey and Joe are determined to walk down the isle in the not too distant future.

She previously said: “We’re just hoping it goes ahead. There’s certain family we really want to be there, so we’re hoping it can go ahead and those people can be there, and won’t end up missing it.”

Stacey first gave fans a glimpse of the countryside property – named Pickle Cottage – back in March.

She was amazed she snapped up the huge house that has its own library and acres of garden space for just £1.2million.

She has since shared dozens of DIY hacks this year including giving Rex’s bedroom and an amazing make-over on a budget.

She also showed off a jaw-dropping staircase transformation as she ditched the red carpet around the house and stripped back the oak in each room.

Stacey loves to share all her transformations on Instagram, and one that divided fan opinions was her decision to paint over her traditional fireplace in Rex’s room.

Fourth baby on the way

Stacey –  who has sons Leighton, eight, Zachary, 12, and Rex, one – announced her pregnancy news on Instagram last night saying she has “never been so grateful”.

She added “we didn’t think we would get the chance” and even shocked fans by admitting they had been trying for another baby “for a really long time”.

“We decided we were so lucky already to have our boys,” she added.

“It is our biggest privilege in life and we are so grateful to be parents so we stopped trying and counted ourselves so, so, so blessed already.”

She added that after going for a check-up they were “so grateful to hear an extra heartbeat”.

Solomon and Swash, who is best known for playing Mickey Miller in EastEnders, have a son named Rex together.

She also has two children from previous relationships, while Joe has another son called Harry.

Stacey’s body confidence

Stacey often shows off her real body, stretch marks, hairy legs, grey hairs, and all.

She recently stripped off to her underwear for Loose Women’s Body Stories campaign.

Mum-of-three Stacey said: “I think every day you have to give yourself a bit of credit and say as many nice things to yourself as you would horrible. It’s about trying to flip it on its head. I don’t think that for most people you’re 100% confident all of the time.

“It’s a work in progress and every day you’re trying to convince yourself of the things that you are, rather than the things that you’re not.

“We get really good at convincing ourselves about the bad things, so it’s about de-programming that mentality.”
