JAMES RODRIGUEZ is extremely unlikely to be playing his football at Everton next season.
That’s according to bookmakers Betfair, who’ve priced the Colombia superstar at 12/1 to remain at Goodison Park for the 2021-22 Premier League campaign.

Rodriguez’s arrival was highly influenced by the excellent relationship he shares with Carlo Ancelotti.
On Merseyside, the 29-year-old showed flashes of brilliance when firing in six goals and providing nine assists.
However, injuries limited him to 23 from a possible 38 top-flight appearances and now it appears he’s ready to follow Ancelotti out the door.
The Daily Mail claim Everton have financial fair play concerns and would be prepared to cut his reported £140,000-a-week wages.
The report also states that James’ agent Jorge Mendes is seeking a solution and has already started offering his client to other clubs.
James Rodriguez next club – Betfair odds
- Atletico Madrid – 2/1
- AC Milan – 3/1
- Napoli – 4/1
- Arsenal – 8/1
- Tottenham – 10/1
- Everton – 12/1
- Juventus – 14/1
But where’s the two-time Champions League winner heading?
Betfair believe an immediate return to Real Madrid is completely out of the question and are NOT offering odds on a Bernabeu switch.
But their neighbours and La Liga champions Atletico have been heavily backed into 2/1 favourites.
Diego Simeone’s side were close to signing Rodriguez back in 2019 before the deal broke down at the 11th hour.
Italian duo AC Milan and Napoli are next in the betting market, priced at 3/1 and 4/1 respectively.
Premier League rivals Arsenal are fourth at 8/1 as Mikel Arteta looks to bring in a playmaker to replace Martin Odegaard, who confirmed he’s staying at Real Madrid.
Odegaard told TV2: “Real Madrid have been clear that they would like me back. So then it will be time to go there when the training starts up again.
“Of course it has always been a dream to play there.”
Tottenham are available at 10/1 with Juventus the outsiders of the pack at 14s.
