Love Island fans ‘file a missing person’s report’ for Hugo and claim he’s secretly left the villa

LOVE Island viewers prepared to file ‘missing persons reports’ last night after Hugo Hammond barely featured in Casa Amor and its recoupling.

The PE teacher played a big part of the show before the introduction of the sister villa, but once the new girls were on the scene he took a back seat in the edit.

His one notable moment in the past week was when he had his first villa kiss with new girl Amy after which he controversially proclaimed “job done”.

Last night his absence led fans to joke he’d left the villa.

One wrote on Twitter: “MISSING: Mr. Hugo Hammond, last seen in Casa Amor, Mallorca approximately 4 days ago #LoveIsland.”

Another posted: “Putting in a missing person’s report for Hugo Hammond in tonight’s episode #loveIsland.”

A third wrote: “is hugomissing#loveisland.”

However, he appeared to return with a bang late on in the episode.

Viewers were convinced that they spotted him and Amy having sex in a saucy bedroom scene.

When night-vision showed all of the Islanders in their beds for the evening, eyebrows were raised by the pair’s positioning.

They looked as though they were bundled incredibly close together, with an exposed foot at the bottom of the duvet suggesting that one may have even been on top of the other.

Reacting to the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene, eagle-eyed viewers flocked to Twitter to share their shock.

One gasped: “Hugo and Amy getting frisky under the covers!!”

Another wrote: “Hugo and Amy are having an evening of passion….”

Love Island fans previously claimed that Amy will pie Hugo as soon as she secured a spot in the main villa.

She initially showed an interest in Tyler in Casa Amor, and was caught looking rigid while wide awake as Hugo cuddled her when they first shared a bed.

Last night’s Love Island broke overnight viewing records again, hitting a peak of 3.1m.
