Mrs Hinch says she uses filter to stop trolls savaging her looks as she’s not ‘strong enough’ to cope with vile comments

EVERY MRS Hinch fan will know the Queen of Clean regularly posts on her Instagram Stories using her “Gretel” face filter.

And now, the Instagram star – aka Sophie Hinchliffe – has revealed why, explaining it’s her “security blanket” against trolls.

Sophie took to her stories to explain the filter

Posting an Instagram Story yesterday without the filter, Sophie looked gorgeous and decided to explain to Hinchers why she uses the filter – which also edits her voice while speaking to the camera.

“People don’t pull apart Gretel’s appearance,” she explained.

“Her voice, or anything at all! So she’s like my security blanket!

“To post a picture of myself sends my chest into overdrive!

“Gretel helps me be who I am inside without worrying about people pulling me apart every day.

“Which sadly trolls do and I’m not strong enough for that just yet.

“I hope that makes sense guys.”

Last month, the cleaning guru continued her pledge to name and shame vile trolls who made cruel comments about herself and beautiful baby Ronnie.

Sophie shared a series of negative comments she’d received online.

The nasty remarks included: “You’re just a cleaner love”, “Your house is boring and vile”, “Get a life”, “I hope you rot in hell”, “Your face is a mess” and “You need to get off Instagram Hinch muppet”.

The 29-year-old wrote: “Trolls, did you know there’s a natural law of karma that vindictive people who go out of their way to hurt others, will end up broke and alone?

“So… Good luck!”

Last month, the cleaning sensation broke down in tears after trolls targeted her son, Ronnie.

She said: “Maybe I was stupid to think that no one would ever be so nasty about a baby, like who does that?

“I don’t know what I’ve done so wrong to get stuff like that. I clean my house and no one else’s. I earn some money from my Instagram.

“I buy cleaning products, I clean. I’m not hurting anyone.

“No one deserves stuff like that. It’s just an innocent little baby, my little boy.

“I don’t know how people like that sleep, guys, I don’t.”

Just weeks later, she took to Instagram to expose one troll who called Ronnie “the ugliest thing”.

Alongside the grab of the message, Sophie wrote: “I hope your day has started better than mine.

“I’m going to keep exposing these kinds of awful people because I think it is so wrong that there are no consequences for internet trolling and bullying.

“I’m learning every day to become stronger towards it, even though people talking about my son absolutely kills me, but next time you message someone, they might be having the worst day and unable to cope with this sort of thing.

“And why should they have to! So I’m standing up to it!

“And I will keep doing so until it stops!”

In response, Mrs Hinch’s fans – who call themselves her “Hinch Army” – rallied around the star and showed their support through the #hincharmy and #mrshinchhelpedme hashtags.
