‘Psycho’ dwarf told therapist exactly how she planned to kill her adoptive family claims dad who insists she was an adult pretending to be a kid

A DAD accused of abandoning a schoolgirl with dwarfism has doubled down on his wife’s claims she is really a 30-year-old sociopath who told docs she wanted to kill them.

Michael Barnett, who has been charged with neglect, will break his silence on The Dr Oz Show later tonight claiming orphan Natalia Grace violently lashed out at ex Kristine.

“It’s obvious that her records were falsified,” he said in a teaser for the episode to be aired tonight. “This is an adult masquerading as a child.”

Just like the 2009 movie ‘Orphan’ Barnett claims Natalia not only tricked them into taking her in – she also threatened to kill their family.

He claimed: “She attempted to kill Kristine twice. The first time she tried to poison her…when confronted it was a matter of fact answer ‘I am trying to kill you.’”

“We took her to the stress centre to have her evaluated that she is having thoughts of harming others, and she is stating out loud that she is attempting to kill Kristine.”

While at the hospital, she started making even more terrifying claims to doctors, therapists and in her notepad, Barnett claimed in the shocking clip.

“‘Not only am I trying to kill Kristine, but I’m going to kill the brothers, too. Here’s how I’m going to do it. Here’s what I’m going to do with their bodies,’” he told the show of the alleged threats.

In the teaser, he also added: “She is screaming, ‘I’m going to kill you! You’re going to die!’”

Neither Natalia – reported to be just eight when adopted – nor a representative for her has responded to the Barnetts’ claims.

Prosecutors insist she is a child and she was left to fend for herself when the Barnetts abandoned her Indiana and moved away to Canada.

A doctor who examined her in 2010 – the year she was adopted – determined that she was about eight-years-old.

However, in 2012 the Barnetts – now divorced – successfully applied to the US courts to have Natalia’s age “corrected” so she could receive the appropriate psychiatric treatment for an adult.

In documents seen by DailyMailTV, Judge Gerald S. Zore accepted the couple’s allegations were ‘true’ and revised Natalia’s date of birth to September 4, 1989 – changing her age from eight to 22.

Natalia, now living with a devout Christian family, has a rare form of dwarfism that means she is 3ft tall and has problems walking.

Because of her condition it has been difficult for doctors to determine her actual age.

The initial doctor’s estimate would make Natalia 16 or 17 today. An earlier court ruling suggests she is now 20.

But according to the Barnetts she would be 30 today.

The Barnetts are accused of abandoning her in a flat and moving over the US border so their oldest son could attend a prestigious school for physics.

They are fighting the charges against them, saying they only left her behind because she was an adult. The couple face up to five years in prison if convicted.

After being charged with neglect, Kristine, 45, claimed that Natalia was a sociopath pretending to be a child and tried to kill her family.
