ROMAN Kemp kept some humour in his heartfelt birthday message to his best mate whom he lost to suicide.
The Capital Breakfast, 28, shared some fun pics of Joe Lyons on his birthday after the Capital Radio producer died suddenly last August.

Joe would have turned 32 this week, but Roman joked on Instagram that he had always planned to say it was the producer’s 40th birthday.
Alongside a series of photos of Joe and Roman asleep on a plane, and Joe happily running a meeting at Capital Radio, his mate penned a moving tribute.
“On what I would’ve said was your 40th birthday, I miss you beyond words pal. Love you mate @[email protected]e,” Roman captioned the post.
Roman added: “PS this is the only time I will post a Spurs shirt,” joking about one photo of Joe wearing a Tottenham Hotspurs top.

The lads started as work colleagues but then became very good friends[/caption]
Some of Roman’s famous pals rushed to send him love, his mum Shirlee adding, “Happy Birthday Joe .”
He’d be so proud of you and what you’re doing,” wrote one Instagram user.
Another added: “So lovely to have videos, keeps his memory alive ”
And a third said: “Sending lots of love to you Roman happy birthday Joe thinking of all his friends and family today ”
Joe died by suicide last year with Roman saying it was unexpected and ‘tore his life apart’[/caption]
Roman has emotionally admitted the death of his best pal Joe Lyons “ripped his life apart.”
Joe worked on the Breakfast Show and was Roman’s mentor when he started at the station in 2014.
You're Not Alone
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide.
It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

The pair’s working relationship quickly turned into an important friendship for them both.
Roman said: “He was with me right from my very first show. He taught me everything I didn’t know about sitting in a radio studio.”
In March, Roman fronted a BBC programme covering the death of his colleague and pal.
Roman, son of Spandau Ballet legend Martin Kemp, said: “If you’d have lined up 20 people you would have thought were suffering mentally he [Joe] would have been the last person.
Roman has since led the charge to raise awareness about men’s mental health and suicide[/caption]

“He was the happiest person, putting everyone ahead of him and it ripped my whole life apart – I could not understand it.
“I didn’t know what had happened. It ripped my life, his whole family, his close friends, our team, everything and it just put me in this state where I’d feel like I knew I had to do something for him and for his family I guess.
In the one-off special, Roman talked intimately about the days following the awful news and also investigate why male suicide rates are so high and what can be done to help others who are struggling.
