Strictly Come Dancing spin-off show It Takes Two moving channel for two weeks


It Takes Two, Strictly Come Dancing’s spin-off series, will not be on BBC Two for two weeks it’s been confirmed

The show confirmed the schedule shake-up on their official Twitter page ahead of the series’ live launch.

Revealing all to their 761.4k followers on Wednesday, they confirmed the first two weeks of episodes will air on BBC One and not BBC Two as usual.

They said: “NEWS: It Takes Two comes to @BBCOne at 5.15pm for two weeks on the 23rd September with @ZoeTheBall and @Rylan !

“Before returning to its home on @BBCTwo 6.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6pm Fridays.”

The shake-up won’t last for long, with ITT moving back to the sister channel on the third week.

Rylan Clark-Neal will make his debut on the show when it returns, after being confirmed to be joining host Zoe Ball earlier this year.

The host appeared to confirm he would only appear on Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday’s shows.

Viewers shared their excitement over the return under the Twitter post, ready for Strictly fever to begin.

The spin-off show features the professional dancers and celebrity contestants revealing all about rehearsals and next performances.

Strictly launches later this month

There’s also a celebrity panel during the Friday episodes, often full of former contestants and fans of the show.

Meanwhile, the show has also provided a first look at Kelvin Fletcher on the show after he replaced original contestant Jamie Laing.

Jamie was forced to pull out after sustaining a nasty foot injury, leaving him devastated.

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 launches live on BBC One on Saturday September 21.
