TUCKER Carlson called General Mark Milley a “stupid pig” on Thursday after he showed support for the teaching of critical race theory.
The Fox News host denounced the top military official’s Wednesday testimony at a committee hearing — where Milley supported the teaching of critical race theory, a way of thinking about America’s history through the lens of racism.

Speaking in front of the House Armed Services Committee, Milley said: “I want to understand White rage. And I’m White, and I want to understand it.
“So, what is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America? What caused that? And I do want to maintain an open mind here.”
He added: “I’ve read Mao Tse Tung. I’ve read Karl Marx. I’ve read Lenin. That doesn’t make me a communist.”
Carlson, who played clips of the general’s testimony during Tucker Carlson Tonight on June 24, slammed Milley for obtaining his job as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff by being “obsequious”
“He knows who to suck up to, and he’s more than happy to do it. Feed him a script and he will read it,” the TV show host said.
The 52-year-old political commentator also poked fun at Milley’s “White rage” comments.

Carlson told viewers: “Hard to believe that man wears a uniform. He’s that unimpressive. Notice he never defined White rage? And we should know what it is. What is White rage?”
After playing a video clip of Milley, Carlson laughed and criticized the general as “not just a pig.”
“He’s stupid,” Carlson added.
He later asked: “At what age can you catch White rage, by the way? Most of us assumed that our two-year-olds were just teething, now we know that it was their whiteness that was making them so angry. Thanks, Mark Milley!”
“By the way, have you read anything recently about winning wars? Apparently not.”

As Milley spoke on Wednesday, he stressed the importance of the “leaders, now and in the future” understand critical race theory.
“Our soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and guardians — they come from the American people,” Milley said. “What is wrong with having some situational understanding about the country for which we are here to defend?”
He added: “I personally find it offensive that we are accusing the United States military, our general officers, our noncommissioned officers of being quote ‘woke’.”
Milley was speaking in response to US Rep. Matt Gaetz calling the armed forces “woke” and Gaetz’s question about US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin hiring a “critical race theorist.”

Scholars developed critical race theory during the 1970s and 1980s in response to what they viewed as a lack of racial progress following the civil rights legislation of the 1960s.
Critical race theorists maintain that legal institutions in the US “function to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, especially African Americans.”
The architects of the theory argue that the United States was founded on the theft of land and labor, and that federal law has preserved the unequal treatment of people based on race.
